4-Fluorobenzoylacetonitrile
CAS:4-Fluorobenzoylacetonitrile is an organic compound that has been shown to bind to the receptor site of prostaglandin synthetase, an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins. The drug has anti-inflammatory activity and is used for the treatment of tuberculosis. It also inhibits the production of prostaglandins in humans, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cellular respiration. 4-Fluorobenzoylacetonitrile can cause a number of side effects including increased blood pressure and heart rate, gastrointestinal symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, and central nervous system symptoms such as headache, drowsiness, dizziness or confusion. 4-Fluorobenzoylacetonitrile can also interact with other drugs by either inhibiting or inducing their metabolism.Formula:C9H6FNOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:163.15 g/molRef: 3D-FF33125
