CAS:Tetraamylammonium chloride (TAC) is a chemical compound that has been used as an inhibitor for ATP-sensitive potassium channels. TAC blocks the opening of these channels, which leads to the inhibition of nerve and muscle cell activity. TAC can be used as an antimicrobial agent to kill bacteria, fungi, and protozoa and also as a reagent in polymerase chain reaction (PCR). Tetraamylammonium chloride has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to treat or prevent inflammation caused by reactive oxygen species (ROS). Tetraamylammonium chloride is also a fluorescent probe that can react with cations such as Ca2+ ions. The TAC is first reacted with dextran sulfate in a solution before adding the sample. The reaction solution then transfers the fluorescence to the sample being tested.Formula:C20H44ClNPurity:(Nonaqueous Titration) Min. 98.0%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:334.03 g/molRef: 3D-EAA96517
