CAS:Carvacrol is a natural phenolic compound that has a strong antimicrobial activity. It is also used as an antioxidant and flavoring agent in food and pharmaceuticals. Carvacrol inhibits the growth of oral bacteria by inhibiting the synthesis of lipids, proteins, and DNA. Carvacrol has been shown to inhibit the production of intracellular Ca2+ levels and cytosolic Ca2+, which are required for bacterial cell division. The water-soluble form of carvacrol has been shown to be more potent than its oil-soluble counterpart because it can penetrate cells more easily. Carvacrol has been shown to have anticancer properties, although it is not yet approved as a therapeutic drug for this use. These anticancer properties may be due to inhibition of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) or eugenol, a substance found in caraway seeds that may have antimicrobial properties.Formula:C10H14OPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Colorless Clear LiquidMolecular weight:150.22 g/molCarvacrol

CAS:Stability Hygroscopic Applications Carvacrol, is present in the essential oil of various plants and also taquila. It inhibits the growth of several bacteria strains, e.g. Escherichia coli[, and due to its good taste can be used as a food additive. It also activates PPAR and suppresses COX-2 inflammation. Not a dangerous good if item is equal to or less than 1g/ml and there is less than 100g/ml in the package References Hotta, M., et al.: J.
