Quinoline-2-Carbonyl Chloride
CAS:Quinoline-2-Carbonyl ChloridePurity:97%Molecular weight:191.61g/molQuinaldoyl chloride
CAS:Quinaldoyl chloride is an alkylating agent that can be used to treat cancer. It has the ability to bind to nitro groups in proteins and other nucleophilic sites, such as those found on DNA. Quinaldoyl chloride binds to glutamate, which is a ligand for the NMDA receptor, and inhibits its activity. This drug also has been shown to have anticancer properties in chronic pain by inhibiting metabotropic glutamate receptors. Quinaldoyl chloride may be used as a corrosion inhibitor or an oxime derivative. It also has been used as a fluorescent probe for studying protein-protein interactions in cells.Formula:C10H6ClNOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:191.61 g/molRef: 3D-ACA34201
