CAS:2,4-Diamino-1,3,5-triazine is a potent antitumor agent that is used in the treatment of leukemia and other cancers. It inhibits aminotransferase activity in mitochondria and prevents the synthesis of fatty acids. 2,4-Diamino-1,3,5-triazine also has reactive properties that may cause biochemical abnormalities. This drug inhibits growth factor production and has been shown to affect locomotor activity in rats. It also induces basic fibroblast reactions. The mechanism for 2,4-diamino-1,3,5-triazine's cytotoxic effects are not well understood but may involve an inorganic acid or hydroxyl group reaction with basic fibroblasts.Formula:C3H5N5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:111.11 g/molRef: 3D-FD62767
