Tetrabutylammonium Dibromoaurate
CAS:Tetrabutylammonium dibromoaurate is a polyester that is used as a precursor in the synthesis of auranofin, an anti-inflammatory drug. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activity in rats with carrageenan-induced inflammation. Tetrabutylammonium dibromoaurate is also used in the synthesis of polycarboxylic acids, which are used for decoloration and as an ingredient in toothpaste. The crystals of tetrabutylammonium dibromoaurate are characterized by x-ray diffraction and diffraction experiments. The ring structure of tetrabutylammonium dibromoaurate can be considered to be composed of two fused rings, one aromatic (benzo) and one aliphatic (butyl). Dehydration reactions of tetrabutylammonium dibromoaurate produce the corresponding alcohols and ethers.Formula:C16H36AuBr2NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:599.25 g/molTetrabutylammonium Dibromoaurate
