Color and Shape:MixtureThidiazuron
CAS:Thidiazuron is a plant hormone that is used for the promotion of root formation in tissue culture. It is also used to promote growth in plants and increase the rate of cell division. Thidiazuron has been shown to be effective at a concentration of 0.1-2 µM, but optimum concentrations vary depending on the type of tissue culture being conducted. It can be prepared as an anhydrous sodium salt or carthamus tinctorius extract, and should not be mixed with any other chemicals. Thidiazuron should not be used on wheat leaves or triticum aestivum due to its herbicidal properties. Thidiazuron promotes plant growth by activating the synthesis of steroidal alkaloids and increasing the translocation of nutrients from roots to shoots.Formula:C9H8N4OSPurity:Min. 98 Area-%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:220.25 g/molThidiazuron (TDZ) for tissue culture, 97%
