CAS:(S)-O-Desmethylnaproxen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that belongs to the group of p-hydroxybenzoic acid derivatives. It has significant cytotoxicity against various bacterial strains and has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of mitochondrial membrane potential. This NSAID also inhibits the production of prostaglandin E2, which is involved in the inflammatory process. (S)-O-Desmethylnaproxen is metabolized by CYP450 enzymes and undergoes phase I metabolism by oxidation to form hydroxy naproxen, which is then conjugated with glucuronic acid and eliminated in urine. The substrate for this drug is naproxen, which can be found in many plants such as parsley and celery. (S)-O-Desmethylnaproxen has been shown to have a matrix effect on hl-60 cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesisFormula:C13H12O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:216.23 g/molDesmethyl Naproxen ((S)-2-(6-Hydroxynaphthalen-2-yl)propanoic acid)
