CAS:The chemical compound ethyl 3-(3-nitrophenyl)-3-oxopropanoate (1) is a chiral molecule that has been shown to be an excellent substrate for asymmetric catalysis. The reactions of 1 with tetronic acid (2) and chloride ion (3) have been studied in detail, and the catalytic effects of the different stereoisomers of 1 on these reactions were investigated. The results show that enantioenriched 1 is a superior catalyst for this reaction compared to the other stereoisomers. This product can be used as a precursor in organic synthesis to produce other compounds with desired structures. It is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of 4-hydroxycoumarin, which is an anticoagulant drug.Formula:C11H11NO5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:237.21 g/molRef: 3D-FE123945
