CAS:6-Bromobenzo[d]thiazole is a metabolite of benzothiazolamine. It has been detected in the perfusion of rat liver and in the uptake of hepatic cells. 6-Bromobenzo[d]thiazole is also detectable in the liver damage caused by phenobarbital. This metabolite is metabolized into 6-hydroxybenzo[d]thiazole, which undergoes further metabolism to form benzo[a]pyrene, an element that has been shown to cause cancer. The rate of metabolism is dependent on the concentration of metabolites and reagents in the metabolic pathway. The metabolic rate can be calculated using constant and steady-state concentrations or using steady-state concentrations.Purity:Min. 95%6-Bromo-1,3-Benzothiazole
