CAS:Chloromethyl Benzoate (CMB) is a quinoline derivative that has been shown to inhibit the production of leukotriene D4, an inflammatory mediator, by inhibiting the hydrolysis of adenosine diphosphate ribose and carbonyl group. CMB also has anti-inflammatory activities in animal models of bowel disease and cancer. It has been shown to be effective in animal models of degenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. The low energy chlorine atom in this molecule makes it difficult for the body to break down CMB and excrete it through urine or bile. This leads to accumulation of CMB in tissues and organs with higher concentrations, which may lead to toxic effects.Formula:C8H7ClO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:170.59 g/molRef: 3D-FC51723
