CAS:Controlled ProductZuclopenthixol is a typical antipsychotic drug that is used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. It binds to dopamine D2 receptors in the brain to prevent them from being stimulated by dopamine. Zuclopenthixol also inhibits the synthesis of prolactin in the pituitary gland, which can cause side effects such as breast enlargement in males and females. The serum prolactin levels are measured using an analytical method such as radioimmunoassay or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. In addition, zuclopenthixol may increase the risk of infection due to its ability to lower the body's resistance to bacteria and viruses. It has been shown that zuclopenthixol has a high affinity for CB2 receptors (a type of cannabinoid receptor) which may be responsible for its anti-inflammatory activity.Formula:C22H25ClN2OSPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:400.96 g/molRef: 3D-DCA77283
