2-(6-Bromohexyloxy)tetrahydro-2H-pyran
CAS:2-(6-Bromohexyloxy)tetrahydro-2H-pyran is a synthetic alkylating agent that has been shown to be cytotoxic in thyroid cancer cells. It has also been shown to be operative on cancer cells, but not normal tissues. This drug is able to selectively bind to terminal alkynes in the presence of oxygen and catalyze their conversion into oxime derivatives, which are cytotoxic.
