CAS:Ethanediol diacetate is a type of cationic polymerization that can be used as an insoluble polymer. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against human pathogens, and it is particularly effective against Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other mycobacterial species. Ethanediol diacetate forms a complex with fatty acids to form esters, which are then hydrolyzed by the enzyme lipase in the cell membrane of the pathogen. The reaction solution also contains nitrogen atoms and boron nitride (BN), which are required for activation of the catalyst. The kinetic data for ethanediol diacetate was determined using trioxane as the solid catalyst, which has been shown to increase the rate of reaction.Formula:C6H10O4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:146.14 g/mol
