2-Hydroxypyrimidine
CAS:2-Hydroxypyrimidine is a tautomer of 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine. The tautomerism between 2-hydroxypyrimidine and 2,4-dihydroxypyrimidine is reversible. This reaction proceeds via the hydrogen bonding of the hydroxyl group to an adjacent nitrogen atom on the same or different molecule. The chemical ionization mass spectrum of 2-hydroxypyrimidine shows that it has a protonated molecular ion at m/z = 155, which corresponds to the loss of water. The photoelectron spectrum indicates that this molecule contains a tetranuclear cation with two oxygen atoms and two nitrogen atoms. The frequency shift in the IR spectrum corresponds to an n-oxide form of this molecule.Formula:C4H4N2OPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Off-White PowderMolecular weight:96.09 g/molRef: 3D-FH12160
