L-Cystine
CAS:L-Cystine is a nonessential amino acid in humans. It is a sulfur-containing amino acid, which forms the cystine molecule with another L-cysteine molecule. Cystine has been shown to have antioxidant properties due to its redox potentials and ability to form disulfide bonds. L-Cystine can be synthesized by the enzyme ATP-binding cassette transporter using the redox potential of NADH. It also plays an important role in protein synthesis, as it is a component of many proteins, including those that are involved in neural death and bowel disease. L-Cystine has also been found to have physiological effects on the human body at levels that are not toxic.Formula:C6H12N2O4S2Purity:Min 98.5%Color and Shape:White PowderMolecular weight:240.3 g/molL-Cystine

CAS:L-Cystine is used as an antioxidant, protecting tissues against radiation and pollution. It finds application in protein synthesis. It is required for utilization of vitamin B6 and is useful in healing burns and wounds. It is also is required by certain malignant cell lines in the culture medium as well as for the growth of certain micro-organisms. It is useful in the stimulation of hematopoietic system and promotes the formation of white and red blood cells. It is an active ingredient in medications used to treat dermatitis.
