CAS:Chlorhexidine acetate is a trifluoroacetic acid salt of chlorhexidine, an antimicrobial agent. It is used as a disinfectant and antiseptic to treat skin infections such as acne, boils, and impetigo. Chlorhexidine acetate has been shown to be effective against S. aureus strains resistant to other antimicrobial agents such as benzalkonium chloride and triclosan. It has also been shown to be effective in treating bacterial vaginosis in women, due to its ability to disrupt the cell membrane of bacteria that cause the infection. Chlorhexidine acetate is available in both liquid and cream forms with different levels of concentration.Formula:C22H30Cl2N10•2(C2H4O2)Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:625.55 g/molRef: 3D-FC170935
