CAS:Cis-4-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride is a monomer that is used in the production of polyamides. It has been shown to have anticancer activity and can be used for the treatment of murine leukemia. Cis-4-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride binds to DNA, RNA, and fatty acids, which may account for its anticancer activity. It also forms hydrogen bonds with other molecules. The uptake of cis-4-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride by cells was found to be rapid with high affinity. This chemical is aminated by reaction with ammonia or an amine to form 4-aminocyclohexanemethanol, which reacts with a second molecule of ammonia or an amine to form a urea linkage. Cis-4-aminocyclohexanol hydrochloride is not soluble in water and therefore must be dissolved in solvents such as acetone or ethanol beforeFormula:C6H14ClNOPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:White To Yellow To Brown SolidMolecular weight:151.63 g/molRef: 3D-FA140145
