2-Methoxyphenylboronic acid
CAS:2-Methoxyphenylboronic acid is a boron compound that can react with organic compounds to form new carbon-carbon bonds. It is used in biological systems as an enzyme inhibitor and has been shown to be specific for epidermal growth factor receptor. 2-Methoxyphenylboronic acid binds to the active site of epidermal growth factor (EGF) receptor, which prevents the activation of the EGF signaling pathway.
