Nitrosobenzene
CAS:Nitrosobenzene is a nitrosamine compound that is used as a treatment for wastewater. Nitrosobenzene reacts with the hydroxyl group on the surface of an oxidation catalyst to form an intermediate, which in turn reacts with molecular oxygen to form peroxy-nitrite and nitrate. This reaction mechanism has been shown using in vitro assays and antibody response models. The kinetics of these reactions are well understood, as kinetic calculations have been made using picolinic acid as a model system. Nitrosobenzene can be synthesized from picolinic acid by asymmetric synthesis.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FN02460
