3,4',5-Trimethoxy-3'-hydroxystilbene is a natural compound that has been found to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in tumor xenografts. It also inhibits the activation of endothelial cells by stimulating the production of nitric oxide and prostacyclin. 3,4',5-Trimethoxy-3'-hydroxystilbene interacts with histone H3 and inhibits protein synthesis, making it a potential drug for cancer therapy. It also has bioreductive properties that may be useful in cancer treatment.

Applications A derivative of Resveratrol which shows apoptotic activity at nanomolar concentrations. Has an IC50= 0.3.
