CAS:Ethopabate is a salt of ethopropazine and sodium carbonate. It is used in pharmaceutical preparations as an antiparasitic agent. The chemical composition of the salt is CHNO, with one hydrogen bond between the ethopropazine and sodium carbonate. Ethopabate has been shown to be active against amprolium-resistant coccidia in human serum, as well as being an analytical reagent for detecting monoclonal antibodies.
