2-Nitro-1H-pyrrole
CAS:2-Nitro-1H-pyrrole is a chemical compound that has been shown to be an effective treatment for wastewater. It can be used to remove nitrates and phosphates from wastewater by converting them into 2-nitrophenol, which can then be further processed into other chemicals. In vivo studies have shown that 2-Nitro-1H-pyrrole is able to reduce the size of hypoxic tumors in rats, suggesting it has potential as a cancer treatment. It also inhibits dna duplexes and redox cycles, including the mcl-1 protein which regulates apoptosis in mammalian cells. This drug has been used in microbial infection studies and biological research. It is not yet known whether this compound can be synthesized. 2-Nitro-1H-pyrrole is a chemical compound with nitrogen atoms linked covalently to carbon atoms at positions 2 and 3 on the pyrrole ring.
