4-Nitro-1H-pyrazole-5-carbonitrile
CAS:4-Nitro-1H-pyrazole-5-carbonitrile is a nitrating agent that can be used to produce high yields of 4-nitroaniline. It reacts with potassium cyanide in aqueous solution to form 4-nitrophenylcyanide, which can be hydrolyzed to 4-nitroaniline. This compound can also react with nitrous acid and anions such as NO2-, SO3-, and ClO4-. The reaction mechanism of the first step is an elimination reaction, while the second step is an addition reaction. Semiempirical calculations have shown that the elimination step is faster than the addition step.Formula:C4H2N4O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:138.08 g/molRef: 3D-FN129610
