p-Tolylurea
CAS:p-Tolylurea is an apolar molecule that has been shown to have a radiation-protective effect against malignant cells. It can be used as a substitute for pyridine and other nucleophilic reagents in synthesizing condensation products. The mechanism of action of p-tolylurea is still unclear, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit the activity of histone deacetylase enzymes, which are involved in the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation. This chemical also inhibits serine/threonine protein kinases, which may account for its anticancer activity.Formula:C8H10N2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:150.18 g/molp-Tolylurea
