CAS:Methyl levulinate is a catalyst that can be used to synthesize methyl glycosides. It reacts with the zirconium oxide surface, which has been modified by treatment with an acidic solution. The reaction mechanism of methyl levulinate is not well understood and is still under investigation. Methyl levulinate has been shown to inhibit HIV infection in cell culture studies. This effect may be due to its ability to inhibit the reverse transcription of viral RNA into DNA, thereby preventing the production of new virus particles. Methyl levulinate also inhibits the synthesis of pluronic P123 when it reacts with an acid complex in a reaction solution.Formula:C6H10O3Purity:Min. 98%Color and Shape:Clear LiquidMolecular weight:130.14 g/mol
