CAS:Cycloheptene was used in one-pot synthesis of 1,2/3-triols from the allylichydroperoxides catalyzed by zeolite-confined osmium(0) nanoclusters. It is a raw material in organic chemistry and a monomer in polymer synthesis. Copper (1) triflate catalyzes the photodimerization of the simple nonconjugated unstrained olefins, cyclopentene, cyclohexene, and cycloheptene, but not cyclooctene or acyclic olefins. CAS:Cycloheptene is a cyclic, unsaturated hydrocarbon that is used as an intermediate in organic synthesis. Cycloheptene can be produced by the reaction of cyclopentene oxide with an alcohol, such as methanol or ethanol. Cycloheptene has a complex enzyme mechanism and can inhibit the hydroxylation of allergens which may lead to allergic reactions. It also has a potent antagonistic effect on prostaglandin H synthase-1 (PGHS-1) and PGHS-2 enzymes. This inhibition leads to the reduction of inflammatory responses in cells and tissues. Cycloheptene is not metabolized by humans, but it is metabolized in rats to cyclopentene oxide and ethyl diazoacetate. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy has shown that these metabolites are found primarily in the liver and kidney following intravenous administration.Formula:C7H12Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:96.17 g/molRef: 3D-FC176344
