CAS:1-Chloroheptane is a reagent for the Friedel-Crafts reaction that can be used to synthesize diphenyl ethers, ethyl formates, and other organic compounds. The elimination rate of 1-chloroheptane depends on the concentration of hydroxyl ions and the temperature. 1-Chloroheptane undergoes an endothermic reaction with constant pressure and a large increase in volume at high temperatures. It has a diphenyl ether group and an ethyl formate group. 1-Chloroheptane also reacts with chloride ion to produce alkylthio groups or chloroalkynyl groups, which can serve as drug binding sites. This product is also a carbon source for fatty acids and reactions involving alkynes.Formula:C7H15ClPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:134.65 g/molRef: 3D-FC75319
