1H-Imidazo[4,5-d]pyridazine-4,7-diol
CAS:1H-Imidazo[4,5-d]pyridazine-4,7-diol is an unsaturated heterocyclic compound. It reacts with phosphorus oxychloride to form the phosphorus oxychloride adduct. The alkylating properties of this compound are due to the presence of an unsaturated C=C bond in the molecule. The binding of 1H-imidazo[4,5-d]pyridazine-4,7-diol to DNA is thought to be due to its ability to intercalate between base pairs and cause crosslinking of DNA strands. This causes a decrease in DNA synthesis and cell division. Additionally, 1H-imidazo[4,5-d]pyridazine-4,7-diol can react with hydrazine or halogen in a hypotensor fashion to form an alkylating agent that inhibits protein synthesis by interfering with ribonucleotideFormula:C5H4N4O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:152.11 g/molRef: 3D-FI134574
