Boc-L-leucine methyl ester
CAS:Boc-L-leucine methyl ester is a metabolite of the amino acid leucine. It is formed by the addition of a methyl group at the carboxyl group of leucine, which prevents degradation by proteases. Boc-L-leucine methyl ester has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice and human cancer cells, as well as to reduce tumor size and metastasis in rats with hepatic cancer. This compound has also been shown to induce apoptosis in tumor cells and to increase the efficacy of chemotherapy drugs. The mechanism behind these effects is not fully understood, but it may be due to its ability to suppress protein synthesis or alter cell cycle progression.Formula:C12H23NO4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:245.32 g/molRef: 3D-FB49245
