  • 1-Piperidinamine,monohydrochloride

    CAS:
1-Piperidinamine,monohydrochloride (1PM) is a chemical that is used in the synthesis of nitro compounds. 1PM is synthesized by the reaction of chlorinating agents with nitric acid. The reaction can be done in two ways: a) by adding dry chlorine to nitric acid and b) by adding hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solution to nitric acid. The first method results in an acidic reaction solution and yields an acidic product as well, while the second method produces a basic reaction solution and yields a basic product. In both cases, the reaction time is short, around 30 minutes.
