4-(Naphthalen-2-yl)phenol
CAS:4-(Naphthalen-2-yl)phenol is a ligand-binding domain that binds to the estrogen receptor. It has high binding affinity for the estrogen receptor α (ERα), and can be used as a nuclear receptor antagonist. 4-(Naphthalen-2-yl)phenol has been shown to bind with high affinity to ERα, which is found in many different tissues in humans. This compound is also able to disrupt the estrogen receptor, leading to an inhibition of estrogen effects. The ligand-binding domain of this compound is believed to be responsible for its ability to bind with high affinity to ERα.Formula:C16H12OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:220.27 g/mol
