CAS:2,4,6-Trichloroaniline is a chemical compound that has been used as a dye intermediate and in the manufacturing of herbicides. It has been shown to inhibit the activities of certain enzymes such as amines oxidases, nitroreductase and sulfite oxidase. 2,4,6-Trichloroaniline has also been shown to bind to potassium dichromate and hydrochloric acid to form an orange precipitate. The long-term toxicity of 2,4,6-trichloroaniline is unknown but it does not appear to cause cancer or mutation. This chemical binds with receptors on cells and may react with hydrogen bonds in proteins. The kinetic and analytical methods for determining this substance are still under investigation but it appears that the reaction mechanism involves intramolecular hydrogen transfer between two molecules of 2,4,6-trichloroaniline. 2,4,6-Trichloroaniline canFormula:C6H4Cl3NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:196.46 g/molRef: 3D-FT71970
