CAS:2,4,5-Trichloroaniline is a compound that has two chloride atoms and one aniline group. It is a colorless solid with a molecular weight of 144.1. 2,4,5-Trichloroaniline is not soluble in water or ethanol but will dissolve in acetone or chloroform. The compound can be found as a byproduct of the manufacturing process for other chemicals such as dyes or herbicides. 2,4,5-Trichloroaniline has been shown to have antibacterial properties and can inhibit population growth of bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This effect may be due to its ability to disrupt an enzyme called ribonucleotide reductase which is necessary for DNA synthesis in bacteria.Formula:C6H4Cl3NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:196.46 g/molRef: 3D-FT176649
