CAS:N6-Carbobenzyloxy-L-lysine benzyl ester hydrochloride is a chiral compound with an asymmetric carbon atom. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme aspartate transaminase, which converts amino acids into ammonia and alpha keto acid. This inhibition leads to an overload of ammonia in the body and thus to cardiac, colitis, bronchial, and myosis disorders. N6-Carbobenzyloxy-L-lysine benzyl ester hydrochloride binds to the active site of aspartate transaminase and blocks its activity. The phenyl group attached to nitrogen atom forms a covalent bond with the active site of aspartate transaminase, thereby inhibiting its activity.Formula:C21H27ClN2O4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:406.9 g/molRef: 3D-FC19710
