CAS:2-Amino-4,6-dimethoxybenzamide is a benzamide that is used as an intermediate for the production of hydroxybenzamides. It is also used as a chemical reagent and is found in the formulae of c1-c6 alkoxybenzamides and mesylates. This compound can be synthesized from 2-hydroxybenzoyl chloride, methylamine, and trifluoroacetic acid. 2-Amino-4,6-dimethoxybenzamide can be prepared by reacting 2-hydroxybenzoic acid with methylamine and trimethylsilyl chloride to produce the corresponding amide. The reaction product can then be hydrolyzed using sodium hydroxide to yield 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxybenzoic acid. The carboxylic acid can then be reacted with phosphorus pentachlorideFormula:C9H12N2O3Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:White To Yellow To Brown SolidMolecular weight:196.2 g/mol
