CAS:N-alpha-Boc-Nepsilon-acetyl-L-lysine is a derivative of the amino acid lysine that has been modified with an acetyl group and a Boc protecting group. It inhibits tumor growth by enhancing hydrogen bond formation between extracellular amino acids and cancer cells, thereby inhibiting the rate of tumor growth. N-alpha-Boc-Nepsilon-acetyl-L-lysine may also be used as an anticancer therapy because it inhibits the mitochondrial membrane potential, which is important for cell proliferation. This peptide is activated in the acidic environment of cancer cells, making it reactive to these cells only. N-alpha-Boc-Nepsilon-acetyl-L-lysine hydrolyzes at a much slower rate than lysine, allowing it to remain active for long periods of time.Formula:C13H24N2O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:288.34 g/mol
