  • Para Red

    CAS:
    Para Red is a monoclonal antibody that binds to fatty acids with hydroxyl groups. It is used in sample preparation for the analysis of fatty acids and other lipids in biological samples such as chilli, red cells, or plasma. The antibody binds to the hydroxyl group on the lipid molecules and forms a complex with the sample, which can be easily separated from other components of the solution. Para Red can be used for genotoxic activity detection by binding to DNA or proteins and forming a complex with them. This complex can be detected by an analytical method such as LC-MS/MS. Para Red has been shown to have high chemical stability, even when heated at 100°C for one hour.
