CAS:L-(+)-Lysine dihydrochloride is a salt of l-lysine and hydrochloric acid. It is used in biological sample preparation to deproteinize solutions, such as blood or urine, by removing proteins that are not desired in the final solution. L-(+)-Lysine dihydrochloride is also used as a reagent in the study of l-lysine uptake. The uptake of l-lysine by cells is inhibited by an enzyme called cyclase that converts it into cyclo-l-arginine monophosphate (cAMP). L-(+)-Lysine dihydrochloride inhibits this enzyme, thereby allowing for the study of the effects of l-lysine on cell growth and function.Formula:C6H14N2O2·2HClPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:219.11 g/molRef: 3D-FL61015
Discontinued productL-Lysine dihydrochloride, 99%
CAS:Synthesis of hyperbranched polylysine using the N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of L-lysine dihydrochloride as AB 2 building block. The histidine and lysine standards were prepared from L-histidine monohydro- chloride and L-lysine dihydrochloride respectively. L-Homocitrulline-The copper complex was prepared from L-lysine dihydrochloride in 80 to 86 per cent yields.
