2-Methoxyimino-2-(2-amino-1,3-thiazol-4-yl)acetic acid is a synthetic organic compound that has been shown to be an efficient inhibitor of cefotaxime. It can be used for wastewater treatment and for the removal of chloride from water. The reaction product is also a potent antioxidant.
