CAS:2-Chloropyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride (2CPS) is a nucleophilic reagent that attacks the target enzyme. It is used in the preparation of 2-chloropyridines, which are used as antimalarial drugs. The chlorides of 2-chloropyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride are also used in the synthesis of other biologically active molecules. These compounds have shown inhibitory activity against malaria parasites and they can be administered orally or by injection.
