H-Ser(Bzl)-OBzl·p-tosylate is a synthetic nucleotide that is used to study the phosphorylation of serine residues. It can be activated with 1,2-diaminopropane and then reacted with the target molecule, which will lead to the formation of an adduct. The reaction condition for this nucleotide is a deprotecting condition. This synthetic nucleotide has been shown to yield high yields in experimental conditions. Experimental results have shown that this compound is not susceptible to hydrolysis by enzymes such as esterases or glucuronidases.
