CAS:Dichloro(dimethylamino)phosphine (DCPP) is a nitrogen mustard that can be used as an anti-cancer agent. DCPP binds to the DNA of tumor cells and interferes with the production of DNA by inhibiting the action of DNA polymerase, which is an enzyme that is required for cell replication. DCPP also reacts with the amino group in proteins and nitro groups in lipids, causing cross-linking between molecules. DCPP has been used as a chemical intermediate in Friedel-Crafts reactions, as well as being a precursor to other compounds such as chlorodiphenylphosphine oxide.Formula:C2H6Cl2NPPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:145.95 g/mol
