CAS:Controlled ProductFluphenazine is an antipsychotic drug that belongs to the phenothiazine class of drugs and is used in the treatment of schizophrenia. Fluphenazine has a low rate constant for protein binding and can be used as a probe for drug interactions. The serum prolactin levels were significantly increased in the low-dose group, but not in the high-dose group. Fluphenazine is metabolized through glucuronidation or oxidation by alcohol dehydrogenase to inactive metabolites. It also acts as an antagonist at multidrug efflux pumps, which may explain its effectiveness against treatment-resistant schizophrenia.Formula:C22H26F3N3OSPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:437.52 g/mol
