    2,3,3',4,5-Pentachlorobiphenyl is a polychlorinated biphenyl that is used as an insecticide. It has been shown to be orally bioavailable in rats and rabbits and to have a non-specific affinity for cells of the female reproductive tract. The 2,3,3',4,5-Pentachlorobiphenyl can be detected in the tissues of animals from which it was administered by oral administration at a dose of 10 mg/kg body weight. The 2,3,3',4,5-Pentachlorobiphenyl stained fallopian tubes in vitro and had no effect on sperm motility in vitro. This congener was found to cause biochemical changes in animals such as decreased serum testosterone levels and increased estrus.
