CAS:Tert-butyl (2-chloroethyl)carbamate is a monolayer-forming ligand that binds to transition metal ions. It has been shown to have neuroprotective effects in vitro, preventing neuronal death induced by glutamate and other excitatory amino acids. Tert-butyl (2-chloroethyl)carbamate also prevents the release of histamine from mast cells, which may be due to its ability to bind to the 5-HT1A receptor. This drug has been shown to be a potent agonist of the 5-HT1A receptor, which is involved in pain control. Tert-butyl (2-chloroethyl)carbamate is also a ligand for the 5-HT1A receptor, which may be useful for treating neuropathic pain.Formula:C7H14ClNO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:179.64 g/mol2-Chloroethylamine, N-BOC protected
