2-Methoxy-6-methylnicotinonitrile (MMN) is a x-ray structural analysis compound that has been postulated to be photocycloaddition and photoaddition. The most common form of MMN is the dimer, in which two molecules are bonded together by a covalent bond. The structure was analyzed using x-ray diffraction and yielded yields of MMN. Analysis also revealed that MMN may react with pyridine and benzene to form adducts.
