Ethylenedioxybis(trimethylsilane) is an organic compound that is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. It is a monomer and has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of gastric acid secretion. The synthesis of ethylenedioxybis(trimethylsilane) can be achieved through a two-step process. The first step involves the synthesis of ethylene, which is then oxidized by ethyl formate to form ethylenedioxybis(trimethylsilane).
