2-Amino-4-hydroxybenzothiazole
CAS:2-Amino-4-hydroxybenzothiazole is a chemical that can be produced from 2-amino-5-nitrobenzothiazole. It is used in the production of dyes and pigments, as well as in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals. This chemical has been found to have a number of transformations, including photodegradation and biodegradation. The mechanisms are not fully understood, but it is thought that the transformation is due to the presence of an electron withdrawing group in the molecule.
