Quinazolin-8-ol is a boronic acid that has been shown to have anti-tumor activity. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells and neurodegenerative diseases by binding to the chromatographic ligand. Quinazolin-8-ol is also able to cross the blood-brain barrier and inhibit the production of molecule, which is an active analog of anthranilic acid. This drug has been shown to decrease blood pressure in rats, which may be due to its inhibition of angiotensin converting enzyme or its effects on calcium channels.
